A nice end to the week

Last night we travelled to Vienna to pick up a European Excellence Award for our work on Heathrow: The Book. It was a really nice ceremony, and obviously good to pick up an award. However, what was even better news is that National Geographic magazine has done a big feature on the campaign as part of its "celebrating aviation" issue, which has been put directly into the hands of people like Gordon Brown and...Barack Obama!

The aviation industry gets a bad press, and it's sometimes easy to forget the huge impact cheaper accessible global travel has actually made to world economies, culture and growth. Anyway, enough of the campaigning, but it's a happy Friday thought that the President of the US may spend his weekend reading our work.
