It’s easy to think there’s no right place to talk about mental health.
For Time to Talk Day 2018 we worked with Time to Change to flip the age-old excuse of “it’s not the time or the place” and developed a creative platform for the campaign of “right time, any place”.
The creative brought advertising, social and PR to life, resulting in thousands of conversations on the day, being held in all kinds of places. Supporters across the UK held conversations everywhere, from the tops of mountains, to railway stations, running clubs to skate parks.
The campaign achieved widespread earned media coverage, from Sky News to Metro, MailOnline to BBC News. High profile supporters of the campaign including the Prime Minister, Jeremy Corbyn, Stephen Fry, Fearne Cotton, Zoella and many, many more whilst hundreds of companies, organisations and schools also got involved to urge others to take the time to talk.
#TimetoTalk was the no.1 Twitter trend from 8am – 6pm, giving direct insight into how the nation was getting involved with the day and using their materials (which were sent out in an aptly named “Chatter Box”).
This brilliant opportunity comes 12 months after our idea for Time to Change won the Creative Shootout 2017.
