A Heathrow Photographer

Posted by Mischief, August 06, 2010

Following on from Alain de Botton's A Week at the Airport: A Heathrow Diary book last year, we've built on the initiative by showcasing resident photographer Dennis Stone's A Life at the Airport: A Heathrow Photographer. The results are a beautiful book designed and published by Mischief (with 5,000 copies being given out at Heathrow), and a photographic exhibition in Terminal 5.

There's been a great media response with double-page spreads in the Daily Express and The Independent being print highlights, and two full days of broadcast (GMTV, BBC News, etc). However, the greater satisfaction comes through the fact that 78-year old Dennis's hard work has been recgonised (he's also been given the "freedom of the airport"), and his legacy has been captured for all to appreciate.

Vauxhall Motors Bowling Club

Posted by Mischief, August 02, 2010

Last weekend was the Ben & Jerry's Festival, this weekend was Vauxhall Motors Bowling Club - resurrecting (and bringing it bang up to date) the original Vauxhall Bowling Club formed in 1905. Highlights include a stunning live performance from Man Like Me, tight little sets from DJs Mat Horne and Toddla T, and a stupendous marathon of bowling from all round nice guy Rick Edwards (right with Mat). 1,000 people through the gate, loads of coverage, and happy faces all round.

Bowls.

Easy like a Sundae morning

Posted by Mischief, July 26, 2010

Ok, not that easy! 25,000 people, 2 days, numerous bands (including Scouting for Girls and the Doves - right), one giant game of pass the parcel, and lots and lots of ice-cream. That was the story of thelast two days as Mischief put on Ben & Jerry's Sundae Festival.

Wow, what an event, and a load of memories for us and festival goers alike. More coverage and demands for tickets than ever before. Moo-vellous.

Not fine by us

Posted by Mischief, July 13, 2010

Despite UK purse-strings being tightened in recent years, a new survey by our motor insurance client esure reveals that bad drivers are still forking out their hard-earned cash on motoring fines. Drivers clock up a massive £200million every year in fines for offences such as speeding, which has clocked up some nice coverage in the Daily Mail (right), Metro and The Sun.

Glorious Goodwood for Chevrolet

Posted by Mischief, July 06, 2010

We arranged for The Sunday Telegraph to experience some American rock ‘n’ roll heritage this weekend with client Chevrolet by driving a Camaro up the Goodwood hill. The journalist was somewhat thrilled: “If I die doing this...that will be kind of ok with me”.

A nice car, and a nice double-page of coverage.
