doesn’t need another new agency.
There are currently 2,471 PR agencies in London alone, with a further
1,000 outside the capital. Most will tell you the same thing. They
‘do things differently’; they are ‘more creative’
than their competitors and ‘their people are special’.
Mischief was created as a result of listening
to what clients like - and dislike - about PR agencies. We
thought we’d set our stall out to be everything clients want
us to be, and more importantly to avoid the things we know they
don’t want.
They told us they don’t like spin; or senior staff who don’t
get involved in their business once the pitch is over. They don’t
want results that don’t match the big promises. They don’t
want to be patronised and told a campaign has been successful, when
it’s made no noticeable difference to their business.
So we created Mischief and promised to be everything that most of
London’s 2,471 agencies aren’t. Which means being prepared
to walk away from potential work before it’s begun if we don’t
feel we can deliver the best results; telling our clients what they
may not always want to hear about their brand; saying what we mean
and meaning what we say.
Which means being the most straight talking agency in the industry.
