Krispy Kreme - Spreading Summer to UK Soles
One of the best parts of summer is being able to kick off your shoes and feel the lush grass between your toes as you walk through the park. The problem is it's not that easy to find lush grassy parks in London so a lot of urbanites are missing out. That was until Krispy Kreme created the world’s first grass flip-flops, which gave wearers their own mini park to walk around on wherever they may be!
The al fresco flip-flops took three weeks to grow and each shoe was covered with over 5,000 blades of grass. The unique flip flops were given out for free to London commuters – complete with a Strawberries & Kreme doughnut – to share the “summer magic” and leave a feel-good association with the brand.
