Onitsuka Tiger — Origami Trainers
One month after launch the website had received over 300,000 hits and over 100 different designs had been submitted. The collaboration featured on over 300 blogs and online news portals including Cool Hunting, Sneaker Freaker, Contagious, Popbitch and Hypebeast.
Offline pick up included coverage in top design magazines including Dazed & Confused, PIMP, Vice magazine, Creative Review and a three page feature in Grafik magazine. It is also included in two coffee table design books: Art & Sole and Crossover as an example of a cutting-edge design collaboration.
Following its UK success, the campaign has been extended throughout Europe with the different territories using the creative to communicate Onitsuka Tiger’s unique Japanese heritage, but in a truly modern, digital way.
