A team from Mischief will be flying the flag for the UK in Cannes, after they were named winners of the PRCA UK Young Lions competition.
Daniella Graham and Andy Garner demonstrated the perfect blend of planning and creative with their response to a brief from this year’s chosen charity, The Children’s Society.
The challenging brief asked teams to bring to life the charity’s big idea that ‘no child should feel alone’, showing people why the charity exists and what it means to young people.
Their winning idea, Nursery Crimes, was praised by the judges as an ‘honest, fully connected, and creative campaign that worked and was presented with great passion’.
They’ll now battle it out with teams from all over the world at the Cannes Festival of Creativity in June.
Daniella and Andy said: “The brief from The Children’s Society was tough, but one we relished getting stuck into. Our filter was pretty simple: if it didn’t answer the brief, it wasn’t a good idea.
“After a lot of digging for gold – and a lot of Post-It notes – we landed on an idea we were proud of.
“We’re thankful to all of the judges and everyone at the PRCA for giving us this opportunity and can’t wait to do the UK proud in Cannes.”
