Huawei Steps in to Help the Unadoptables

April 19, 2019

Huawei has partnered with the RSPCA in a bid to improve the profile pictures of animals on their website and find homes for their ‘Unadoptable’ animals.

RSPCA centres across the country have received brand new P30 Pro handsets to help them in taking better images and to convince the 56% of Brits who would skip over a picture of an animal that was less aesthetically pleasing.

To launch the partnership, Olympian and dog lover Louis Smith visited RSPCA Millbrook to meet three unadoptable animals – Penny (an adorable) lurcher, Buddy (a cheeky three legged cat) and Tania (an excitable staffie).

Huawei’s P30 Pro has in built AI to recognise cats and dogs – so the RSPCA should now have no trouble in capturing picture perfect shots of animals that need homes.

The story certainly got media barking (and meowing, probably) – with widespread coverage appearing in a whole load of publications including the Daily Mirror, Evening Standard, UNILAD and many more.
