Engine Mischief has appointed experienced brand strategist and former agency founder Alicia Mellish as a director.
Alicia Mellish joins Engine Mischief from Golin, where she was an executive director and worked on campaigns for Lego and Mondelez, including the 'Donate your words' campaign for Cadbury's and Age UK, which featured the late Captain Sir Tom Moore.
Mellish previously founded Stir PR and led the agency for seven years.
At Engine Mischief, she joins the leadership team and will be responsible for delivering “new stand-out client campaigns” and driving agency growth.
The agency said her appointment follows a “successful year” in which it added new clients including Avanti, Johnson & Johnson and Just Eat.
"I am delighted to have Alicia – and her brilliant mix of entrepreneurial hustle and the ability to lead big, multi-layered, blue-chip clients – on board,” Engine Mischief managing director Greg Jones said.
“Her experience is the ideal blend for Engine Mischief, and perfectly reflects our ‘Attention rebellion’ ethos – helping clients cut-through to distracted consumers, with stand-out creative campaigns that drive measurable business impact.”
Mellish said: “With new wins and new positioning, 2020 was an exciting year for the team, and I can’t wait to join and help lead the agency into this new exciting phase.”
